For starters, there are several blog posts and websites that can give a beginning blogger an idea of what might be good topics to write/blog about, in order to get blog juices going.  However, one of the best tips I've received is to just blog straightforwardly no matter what the initial topic or niche may be (within reason, of course).  Basically, it's really up to you to give it your all, because readers and bloggers alike can tell when someone "means what they say and say what they mean".  And, when you think about it. many people surfing the web and checking out blog after blog are usually turned off by the lack of content, whether the blog is aesthetically appealing, whether posts have been consistent, and whether any of the tips and advice could be helpful at all.

I want to talk about the major ins & outs of blogging to inspire you to create a blog that is both interesting and unique to readers, and to create some blogging success of your own.  These may be some short milestones as you begin you adventure in blogging, but they will be most definitely useful for you, in the long run.

One of the better niche blogs that I recently discovered is NicheHacks.  It was recommended by one the best affiliate marketers and bloggers online.  Its user-friendly interface makes it seem like Creator Stuart Walker knows exactly what he's talking about when it comes to blogging well and doing it successfully.   His sight, firsthand, can take the thinking out of finding a specific niches to blog about by acting much like an online brainstorming platform, re-hatching some ideas that the Google Keyword Tools may never touch on.

There are simple how-to articles about everything blog and affiliate related, although he emphasizes that any success with affiliate programs, like Amazon Associates, depends much on the merchandise being advertised and how one's blog can lead to the number of readers clicking on the ad and making a purchase for you to get any commissions in the affiliate game.

For instance, if you're into rock 'n' roll fashion and culture, you are probably more likely to sell the very expensive, high end Montigrappa Chaos Gold and Enamel Automatic Watch (Retail Value:  $85,950.00).  As an Amazon Associate, you can expect to make somewhere around 3-5% in commissions, but it can add up to an income well earned for the day, especially with big ticket items, like this watch, or what Darren Rowse usually sells, which is camera equipment.  The Montegrippa designer watch can easily earn you a whooping $2,578-$4,297.50 - that's IF you sell this watch alone!

On the other hand, if you're into books (like me), the one order for one novel by J.K. Rowling, or even the original Game of Thrones complete novel set, realistically, is just not in high enough demand for the majority of online consumers to be interested in buying, or even clicking on your affiliate marketing ad.  Even so, the only way you're going to benefit is if someone has a large order - including these books and other items - that equate to over $500 in sales, in order to earn about $25 per successful click-through conversion.  However, consistency and traffic are most dependent to even get such results.

So, in other words, advertising your website and blog posts, as well as determining the amount of traffic going to each page or website is crucial to making some really good money online.
